Equip U has been very blessed to offer opportunities to learn and grow together on Wednesday nights over the last 15 months. Effective November 18th, 2009 and for the foreseeable future, Pastor Mac Hammond will teach the congregation on the topic of revival and corporate prayer. We have a posture of high expectancy and anticipation for what is to come, and hope to see you soon.

The title of this post is the same as our next session - "Obstacles to Effective Prayer". As followers of Jesus, we could agree that communicating (talking AND listening) with God through prayer is essential to growing closer to Him, increasing our understanding of His plan for us, trusting His plan, and seeing how He wants to use us for His kingdom and His glory.
Charles Stanley describes how some of King David’s prayers are recorded in the Psalms. There we read how he praised the Lord, confessed sin, and cried out about his troubles. He also asked God to hear his prayers and not be silent (Ps. 28:1).
We all want to pray effectively like David, right? But to do so, we should know what the Bible says about the obstacles to our prayer lives being effective.Written by Buddy Winn Wednesday, 09 September 2009 14:54
Thanks to Kevin Weiers and the LWCC Graphics Department for their support. Don't they do an amazing job?!

Whew...after a long weekend of coding (yes, I labored on Labor Day), we've launched the redesigned Equip U website. Obviously, you know this from the fact that you're reading this, and thanks for visiting.
We streamlined the site to put all of the resources from each course (Financial University, Relationship University, Apologetics University, and now, Conversations with God) on one page, including video links, notes, handouts, slides, and more. You'll find links to the free archived content on the left side of this page.
